Cao Mianying, female, born in 1967 in Haiyan County, Zhejiang Province, is a rower. In 1984, she became a member of Zhejiang provincial rowing team.

Cao Mianying won the championship in women’s single sculls at the Second Asian Rowing Championships in 1987. She won the fifth place in women’s double sculls at the 24th Olympic Games in 1988, the championship in women’s single sculls at the 1990 Beijing Asian Games, and fourth place in women’s coxless eight at the 1992 Olympic Games. She won the championship in women’s quadruple sculls at the 1993 World Rowing Championships.

In 1994, she won the championship in women’s single sculls at the Hiroshima Asian Games.
