The Chinese sports delegation won 126 gold medals, 83 silver medals and 57 bronze medals during the 12th Asian Games in Hiroshima, Japan, which ran from October 2 to October16 in 1994. This is the third time for China to rank first in the gold medal tally since its participation in the Asian Games.

A total of 17 athletes from Zhejiang Province competed in 11 sports and bagged 5 gold medals, 5 silver medals, 6 bronze medals and one fourth place.
