Zhan Xugang, male, born on May 15, 1974 in Kaihua County, Zhejiang Province, is a weightlifter. Zhan Xugang was selected to the Zhejiang provincial weightlifting team from Kaihua County Youth Sports School in 1987 and was selected to the national weightlifting team in 1994.

In 1993, he was awarded gold in men’s 70kg snatch, clean and jerk, and total at the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships. The next year, he repeated as gold medalist in men’s 70kg snatch, clean and jerk, and total at the World Junior Weightlifting Championships.

In 1994, he won the gold medal in men’s 70kg weightlifting at the Hiroshima Asian Games.
