Cao Mianying was born in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province in 1967.

He has won many medals in many competitions at home and abroad. He was titled as “Master of Sports” in 1988, “National Master of Sports” in 1989, and awarded the National Titles of Honor in Sports in 1994.
