Female volleyball player Qi Lili was born in Quzhou, Zhejiang Province in 1971. In 1985, she was selected to Zhejiang provincial women volleyball team from Zhejiang Provincial Sports School, and in 1989, she was selected to the national women’s volleyball team.

In 1990, she won the gold medal in women’s volleyball at the Beijing Asian Games.
