Wan Jiyuan (third from the left) was born in Zhuji, Zhejiang Province in July 2002.

On July 19, 2019, Wan Jiyuan was selected into the 12-woman squad to compete for China at the U19 Women’s Basketball World Youth Championships. On January 15, 2021, she was selected to the training list of the 3x3 women’s national basketball team.

On July 28, 2021, she won the bronze medal in 3x3 women’s basketball at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
