Zhu Qi’nan was born in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province in 1984.

He has won medals at the National Games, the Asian Games, the World Cup, the World Championships, the Olympic Games and other competitions. In September 2004, he was awarded the title of “Meritorious Sportsperson of Zhejiang Province” by Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government.
