Tang Jingzhi was born in 1986 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

She has won championships at the Short Course World Championships, the Asian Games, and the National Championships. In 2000, she was conferred the title of “Master of Sports”.

Achievement at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games:

Silver medal in women's 4× 200m freestyle relay.
