Luo Xuejuan was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province in 1984.

She has won the championships at the National Games, the World Championships, FINA Swimming World Cup, and finished runner-up at the World Short Course Swimming Championships and the Asian Games. In 1999, she won the title of “Master of Sports of the International Class”. In 2001, she was awarded the title of “Top 10 Chinese Athletes of the Year” at the “Big Red Eagle” Cup.

Gold medal in women’s 100m breaststroke.
