Fu Yuanhui, born in 1996, comes from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

She won the silver medal in women’s 100m backstroke at the 2011 World Junior Swimming Championships, the gold medal at the 2011 National Swimming Tournament, the gold medals in women’s 50m and 100m backstroke at the 2012 National Swimming Championships and the gold medal in women’s 50m backstroke at the 2013 Australian Tri-Nations Competition. She was the first runner-up in women’s 50m backstroke at the 2013 World Aquatics Championships in Barcelona. In 2013, she won the gold medal in women’s 100m backstroke at the 12th National Games held in Liaoning.
