Sun Yang, born in 1991, comes from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

He has won championships in many competitions at home and abroad, such as the National Games, Asian Games, World Championships, Open Short Course Championships, and Olympic Games. At the 2012 London Olympic Games, he won the gold medal in men’s 400m freestyle and set a new Olympic record with a time of 3:40.14, the gold medal in men’s 1500m freestyle with a world record of 14:31.02, the silver medal in men’s 200m freestyle, and the bronze medal in men’s 4×200m freestyle relay.

Gold medal in men’s 4×100m freestyle relay;

Gold medal in men’s 400m freestyle;
