Mao Feilian (preliminary contest), born in 1993, comes from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

He won the gold medal in men’s 4×200m freestyle relay at the 2011 National Swimming Tournament, the second place in men’s 200m individual medley at the 7th National Intercity Games, and the gold medal in men’s 200m breaststroke at the 2013 National Swimming Championships with a time breaking the national record. At the 4th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, he won the first gold medal for Team China. He won the gold medal in men’s 200m breaststroke at the 12th National Games held in Liaoning in 2013.


Achievements at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games:

Gold medal in men’s 4×100m medley relay;

Silver medal in men’s 4×200m freestyle relay.
