Bi Yirong, born in 1996, comes from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

She was the second runner-up in women’s 800m freestyle at the 2011 National Swimming Championships and the champion in women’s 4×200m freestyle relay at the 7th National Intercity Games of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) in 2011. She also won third place in women’s 4×200m freestyle relay at the 2012 National Swimming Championships. In 2013, she won the bronze medal in women’s 800m freestyle at the 12th National Games of the PRC held in Liaoning.

Achievements at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games:

Gold medal in women’s 800m freestyle;

Silver medal in women’s 400m freestyle.
