Shen Lijuan, a female track and field athlete from Hangzhou, Zhejiang, was born in 1958. She was selected to Zhejiang provincial athletics team from Hangzhou  Sports School in 1976.

She won the gold medals in women’s shot put at the Eighth Asian Games in Bangkok in 1978 and at the Fourth Asian Athletics Championships in 1981.

At the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi, she secured the silver medal in the women’s shot put.
