The Chinese delegation won 150 gold medals, 84 silver medals and 74 bronze medals during the 14th Asian Games held in Busan, South Korea, which ran from September 29 to October 14, 2002. Once again, the delegation topped the gold medal tally.

A total of 33 athletes, coaches and referees from Zhejiang Province participated in the competition and won 21 gold medals, 8 silver medals, 5 bronze medals, the fourth place once and the fifth place twice, contributing new glory to the province and the country.
