Female swimmer Tang Jingzhi was born on September 15, 1986 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. He entered Zhejiang provincial swimming team in 1998 and the national swimming team in 2002.

She won the championships in women’s 400m freestyle at the 2001 Goodwill Games and in women’s 4×200m freestyle relay at the 2002 FINA Short Course World Championships.

In 2002, she won the championship in women’s 4×200m freestyle relay and the third place in women’s 400m freestyle at the 14th Asian Games held in Busan.
