Pan Dandan was born in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province in January 1996.

Pan Dandan won the silver medal in lightweight women’s quadruple sculls at the World Rowing Championships in 2011 and the bronze medal in the same event at the 13th National Games in 2017. In 2018, she won the gold medal in lightweight women’s quadruple sculls at the Rowing World Cup in Lucerne, Switzerland.
