Qi Xinyi was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province in 1995.

In 2014, she won the second place in women’s swordsmanship and the championship in women’s Duilian event at the National Wushu Routine Championships. In 2015, she won the runner-up in women’s eagle claw boxing and the championship in women’s group at the National Wushu Routine Championships.

Achievement at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games:

Gold medal in women’s Changquan.
