Fu Yuanhui was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province in January 1996.

In 2013, she won gold medals in women’s 50m and 100m backstroke at the National Swimming Championships. In 2014, she won gold medals in women’s 50m and 100m backstroke at the 17th Asian Games. In 2016, she won the bronze medal in women’s 100m backstroke at the Rio Olympic Games. In 2017, she won gold medals in women’s 100m backstroke, mixed 4×100m medley relay, and women’s 4×100m medley at the 13th National Games.

Silver medal in women’s 50m backstroke.
