Male volleyball player Wang Hebing was born in February 1970 in Wenling, Zhejiang Province. He was selected to Zhejiang provincial men’s volleyball team in 1984 and the national men’s volleyball team in 1994.

He won the runner-up in men’s volleyball at the 1995 Asian Volleyball Championships.

He won the championship in men’s volleyball at the 1998 Asian Games held in Bangkok .
