Female artistic gymnast Zhou Xiaojing was born in August 1977 in Rui’an, Zhejiang Province, She was selected to Zhejiang provincial artistic gymnastics team in 1987 and the national artistic gymnastics team in 1992.

In 1994, she won the runner-up in women’s individual all-around artistic gymnastics at the Hiroshima Asian Games. In September 1996, she won the championships in women’s individual all-around and rope exercise at the Asian Gymnastics (Artistic Gymnastics) Championships.

She won the championships in artistic gymnastics women’s team and individual all-around at the 1998 Asian Games held in Bangkok.
