Female basketball player Wang Fuying was born in 1969 in Wenling, Zhejiang Province. She entered Zhejiang provincial women’s basketball team in 1985 and the national women’s basketball team in 1998.

She won the runner-up in women’s basketball at the 1998 Bangkok Asian Games.
