Female volleyball player Zhou Suhong was born in Changxing County, Huzhou in April 1979. She entered the Changxing County Youth Sports School in 1990 and Zhejiang provincial women’s volleyball team in 1994. In 1996, she was successively selected to the national youth team and the national beach volleyball team, and entered the national volleyball team in 1998.

She won the championships in women’s volleyball at the FIVB World Grand Champions Cup in 2001, the Busan Asian Games in 2002, the FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Grand Prix and the FIVB Women’s World Cup in 2003, the Athens Olympic Games in 2004, and the Doha Asian Games in 2006.
