Female Sepak Takraw player Chen Caiping was born in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province on September 13, 1987. In 2001, she started her training at Zhejiang Taozhu Middle School.

In 2006, she won the third place in women’s team at the King’s Cup Sepaktakraw World Championship, the championship in women’s regu at the World Cup and the third place in women’s doubles at the Vietnam Open.

At the Doha Asian Games in 2006, she won the third place in Sepak Takraw women’s team competition.
