Male sepak takraw player Ge Yusheng was born on August 27, 1989 in Linhai, Taizhou. He was selected to the national sepaktakraw team in 2008.

In 2008, he won the title “National Best Server” at the National Youth Sepaktakraw Championships, and the third place in the men’s team event at the World Cup Sepaktakraw Championships.

He won the bronze medal in sepaktakraw men’s single-group event at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games.
