At the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games held in Guangzhou, China from November 12 to November 27, 2010, the Chinese delegation won 199 gold medals, 119 silver medals and 98 bronze medals in the 42 sports, marking the eighth time for China to rank top in the gold medal list since its participation in the Asian Games.

A total of 42 athletes, 16 coaches and several other staff from Zhejiang Province took part in a total of 18 sports of this Games, winning 26 gold medals, 11 silver medals, 9 bronze medals, the fourth place once, the fifth place three times, the sixth place once and the seventh place once. They have contributed a new glory of sports to the province and the nation.
