Male shooter Zhu Qinan was born on November 15, 1984 in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. He was selected to Zhejiang provincial shooting team in 2002 and then the national shooting team in December that year.
In August 2004, he won the gold medal in men’s 10m air rifle at the 28th Athens Olympic Games. He won two gold medals in men’s 10m air rifle at the 2005 ISSF World Cup in Italy and the United States, and the silver medal in men’s 10m air rifle at the 29th Beijing Olympics in 2008. In 2009, he won the gold medal in men’s 10m air rifle at the East Asian Games, the gold medal in men’s 10m air rifle at the 11th National Games in Shandong and the silver medal in men’s 10m air rifle at the Asian Shooting Championship.
In 2010, he won championships in men’s 10m air rifle individual and team, and the third place in men’s 50m rifle 3 positions team and individual at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games.
