Female sailor Wei Mengxi was born on February 16, 1994 in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province. She entered Jiaojiang Youth Sports School in 2004 and Zhejiang provincial sailing team in 2010.

She won the bronze medal in the sailing women’s 420 class at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games.
