Female canoe&kayak athlete Luo Xin was born in 1988 in Changsha, Hunan Province. She was selected to Changsha municipal canoeing team in 2002, Ningbo Aquatic Sports School in 2004, and Zhejiang provincial canoeing team in 2006. In 2009, she was selected to the national women’s dragon boat training team.

In 2006, she won gold medals in women’s Group A kayak double 500m and 1000m at the 13th Games of Zhejiang Province.

In 2010, she won three gold medals in dragon boat women’s 1000m, 500m, and 250m straight races at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games.
