Male basketball player Ding Jinhui was born on October 27, 1989 in Jinyun County, Lishui City. He entered Zhejiang Provincial Sports School in 2003 and Zhejiang Wanma Youth Team in 2004. He joined the CBA 2006-07 seasons for the first time, winning the title of Best Newcomer and was selected to the National Second Team. In 2007, he joined the National First team.

In 2010, he won the championship in men’s basketball at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games.
