Female swimmer Shao Yiwen was born on March 10, 1995 in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. She joined Zhejiang provincial swimming team in May 2006 and the national swimming team in 2009.

In October 2006, she won the championship in women’s butterfly (11-year-old group) at the 13th Games of Zhejiang Province. In October 2009, she won the fifth place in women’s 800m freestyle at the 11th National Games.

She won the championship in women’s 400m freestyle and the runner-up in women’s 800m freestyle at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games.
